The article presents a curriculum for the academic discipline "Business Correspondence Etiquette in English," aimed at training pre-service philologists-translators. The program is designed for first-cycle (bachelor’s level) higher education students specializing in 035 Philology, enrolled in educational programs such as "Spanish Language and Literature, Second Foreign Language, Translation," "French Language and Literature, Second Foreign Language, Translation," "Italian Language and Literature, Second Foreign Language, Translation," and "Modern Greek Language and Literature, Second Foreign Language, Translation." The discipline has the status of an elective course. The article analyzes contemporary research on teaching business correspondence within the context of intercultural communication. The objective of the discipline "Business Correspondence Etiquette in English" is defined as the development of English-language communicative competence in the field of intercultural business communication. Additionally, the article outlines the course objectives and expected learning outcomes, provides a thematic plan for classes, and suggests assessment criteria for students’ classroom and independent work. It also describes the evaluation criteria for students' responses during the final assessment. During the study of the course "Etiquette of Business Correspondence in English," students are offered the following topics for study: linguistic characteristics of modern English-language business communication, language etiquette in business correspondence, types and structure of business letters, as well as the specifics of writing and translating pre-contractual, contractual, and post-contractual business letters in both English and Ukrainian. The introduction of the "Business Correspondence Etiquette in English" course into the educational process at higher education institutions will contribute to the training of qualified and competitive specialists capable of using English professionally in intercultural business communication.
