Abstract

The study is devoted to the analysis of the opportunities and challenges of using generative artificial intelligence to develop educational materials in a digital educational environment. The article considers the potential of generative artificial intelligence to automate the creation of educational content, personalize the educational process and improve the adaptability of materials. Particular attention is paid to the challenges associated with ensuring the quality of generated content, compliance with ethical norms and the need to develop digital competence of participants in the educational process. The purpose of the study is to identify the opportunities and challenges of using generative artificial intelligence to create educational content, as well as to develop recommendations for its effective application. The research methods are based on the analysis of scientific literature that highlights the use of generative artificial intelligence in education, the application of a comparative analysis of the advantages and challenges of integrating artificial intelligence into the educational process and the systematization of modern approaches. The results of the study allowed us to identify the key advantages of using generative artificial intelligence, in particular, reducing time and financial costs, adaptability of content to individual needs of students, interactivity of the educational environment and personalized approaches to learning. At the same time, the main challenges were identified: problems of reliability and quality of content, risks of academic dishonesty and the need for regulatory regulation. The conclusions of the study indicate that the integration of generative artificial intelligence into the educational process requires a careful approach, including standardization of content quality criteria, development of digital literacy of teachers and students, as well as adherence to ethical norms and principles of academic integrity. Generative artificial intelligence is an innovative tool that can significantly increase the efficiency of creating and using educational materials. The developed recommendations can serve as the basis for further research and optimization of the use of generative artificial intelligence in the digital educational environment.
