Abstract

The article considers the problem of forming and improving the pedagogical culture of a bachelor of professional education (design) by revealing the individual potential of the personality and its creative abilities in the educational process. The purpose of conducting a formative pedagogical experiment was to determine the significance of the impact on the traditional system of professional training of bachelors in vocational education of the formation of their pedagogical culture according to the designed phased model. During the first stage of adaptation (1–2 courses of study), the formation of pedagogical culture was carried out by the acquisition by bachelors of vocational education of new value orientations and forms of socialization for the formation of pro-social models of professional activity and behavior. During the second stage of individualization of the formation of the pedagogical culture of 3rd-year bachelors of vocational education in the process of professional training, the formation of the personal subjectivity of future specialists took place by means of the manifestation of acquired competencies, individual personal and professional inclinations and abilities through subject-subject pedagogical interaction of participants in the process of professional training. During the third final stage of integration, bachelors in vocational education mastered the 4th year, on the basis of subject-object interaction with teachers, the active and practical component of pedagogical culture in the process of studying professional academic disciplines. The control stage of the pedagogical experiment conducted in 2025 contributed to identifying the levels of formation of the pedagogical culture of bachelors of vocational education (design) according to value-motivational, cognitive-content, and operational-activity criteria. The general dynamics of changes in the formation of pedagogical culture of students in the process of professional training, according to the results of experimental testing of the model we designed, revealed in the experimental groups 21,0% of students with a high level of formation of pedagogical culture, while in the control groups there were almost two and a half times fewer such students (8,2%).
