The aim of the study is to substantiate the significance of the linguocultural approach in foreign language teaching, define its methodological foundations, and analyze its impact on intercultural communicative competence. The methodology is based on an interdisciplinary approach that combines elements of linguistics, cultural studies, pedagogy, and social psychology. The study employs methods of theoretical analysis, comparative research, observation, and empirical studies on the impact of the cultural component on the learning process. The results of the study confirm that integration of the cultural aspect into foreign language teaching contributes to a deeper understanding of the language, the formation of intercultural competence, the development of critical thinking, and the awareness of one's own cultural identity. It has been found that the effectiveness of this approach is enhanced through the use of authentic materials, interactive teaching methods, and digital technologies. Furthermore, the necessity for clear criteria to assess the level of students’ linguocultural competence has been established.
The study’s conclusions emphasize that the linguocultural approach is a key element of modern language learning, as it ensures not only the acquisition of linguistic material but also the awareness of cultural codes and communicative norms. Further research should be aimed at developing innovative methodologies for integrating the cultural component into the learning process and assessing its effectiveness in the educational environment.
