Abstract

Abstract: The relevance of this research is determined by the large-scale impact of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation on the infrastructure of Ukraine, particularly on facilities of physical culture and sports. The purpose of the study is to conduct a systematic analysis of the current state of sports infrastructure under wartime conditions and to identify the main problems and priorities for its restoration. To achieve this goal, the methods of system analysis, analysis and synthesis, comparative analysis, generalization, case analysis, induction, and deduction were applied. A comprehensive assessment of the state of Ukraine’s sports infrastructure during the full-scale war was conducted. The article presents a systematic analysis of the state of sports infrastructure in Ukraine under the conditions of full-scale war. It examines key directions of destruction, the geography of damage, the transformation of the functional purpose of individual facilities, and the impact of the loss of material and technical resources on athlete training, competition organization, and public physical activity. Based on open reports of state authorities, analytical materials, and expert evaluations, general trends of damage across different regions were summarized. The study identifies factors complicating the recovery process of sports infrastructure. The role of international assistance and recovery programs is analyzed separately, and practical recommendations are provided regarding reconstruction priorities, including the integration of inclusion and energy efficiency principles. This work is interdisciplinary in nature and is intended for practical use in the development of recovery programs, planning of local investment projects, and scientific research in the field of physical culture and sports Keywords: sports infrastructure; war; destruction; recovery; physical culture; accessibility; adaptation.
