About the Journal

Pedagogical Academy: Scientific Notes is an academic peer-reviewed open-access electronic journal.

The journal was founded in 2023 by the NGO "Institute of Strategies for Innovative Development and Knowledge Transfer".

Journal Status

In 2024, the journal was granted Category "B" in pedagogy (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 24 April 2024 No. 582). Following the update of the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine carried out in accordance with Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 19 January 2026 No. 56, the journal was denied inclusion in the updated List by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 30 June 2026 No. 1008.

The editorial board is bringing the journal into full compliance with the updated requirements of the Procedure and plans to reapply for Category "B" in the next cycle of List formation. Denial of inclusion in the List does not restrict the journal's publishing activity: the journal continues to operate as a peer-reviewed open-access electronic publication, maintaining independent peer review, editorial standards, and a policy of academic integrity.

This journal exists to provide scholars from around the world with the opportunity to present the results of their research across a broad range of pedagogical sciences.

Aims and Scope

Pedagogical Academy: Scientific Notes is an interdisciplinary journal. We publish articles in the following subject areas: education and pedagogy, primary education, vocational education, distance learning technologies in education, higher education, physical culture and sport.

Selection Criteria

The journal accepts original articles that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere, provided they correspond to the aims and requirements of the journal. Articles may be applied, theoretical, or review in nature. All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review procedure.

Publishing Transparency and Quality Control Policy

All information published on the journal's website — regarding the composition of the editorial board, peer review procedures, editorial policies, and the journal's actual indexing in scientometric databases — is complete, accurate, and verifiable.

No more than one article by the same author or co-author may be published in a single issue of the journal. Any additional articles by the same author are transferred to the following issue.

Publication Schedule

From August 2026, the journal is published quarterly — four issues per year. The next issue is scheduled for September 2026 (submission deadline: 30 August 2026).

Open Access and Licensing

The journal is an open-access publication: all published materials are available to readers without subscription or registration immediately upon release. All content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0).
