Despite the active use of digital technologies in education, a number of unresolved problems remain, in particular, the gap between the digital competencies of teachers and the needs of education seekers, the lack of unified standards of digital literacy, and insufficient integration of digital tools into curricula. The purpose of the study is to analyze key technological trends and their impact on the formation of digital competencies of teachers and students, identify strategic directions for the development of digital education, and formulate practical recommendations for improving the training of education seekers in the context of digital transformation. The article considers such modern educational models as blended learning, flipped classroom, the use of artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality technologies, as well as digital platforms for organizing the educational process. Based on the analysis of scientific sources and practical experience, the main challenges of digitalization of education are identified: uneven level of digital training of teachers, insufficient funding of educational IT initiatives, lack of an interdisciplinary approach to the formation of digital skills. Ways to overcome these problems are proposed: development of unified standards of digital competence, modernization of curricula, introduction of adaptive educational technologies, close cooperation between educational institutions and employers. The results of the study confirm that the development of digital competencies in teachers and students is a critical factor in improving the quality of education. The proposed recommendations will contribute to the formation of competent specialists ready for the challenges of the digital economy, and ensuring that educational programs meet the requirements of the labor market. The conclusions reflect the features of a comprehensive approach to the development of digital competencies of participants in the educational process, the integration of digital technologies into curricula, and the advanced training of teachers to ensure that education meets the modern requirements of the labor market.
