Abstract

Neurosensory disorders, including visual and auditory impairments, significantly affect the ability of children to interact with the environment, learn and socialize. The studyʼs relevance is due to the need to modernize pedagogical approaches in special education to meet the developmental needs of children with sensory dysfunctions and ensure their effective inclusion in educational and social contexts. The study aims to identify ways to modernize correctional and developmental activities for children with sensory impairments based on an innovative approach. The methodological basis of the study includes a combination of theoretical analysis, experimental methods, and diagnostic tools adapted for children with sensory impairments. Results. The developed methods included elements of sensory integration, compensatory learning strategies and interactive technologies adapted to different types and degrees of sensory dysfunction. The data obtained indicate a significant improvement in the cognitive, emotional and social development of children who were taught using innovative methods. These approaches provide an increased level of childrenʼs involvement, improved sensory perception and more successful adaptation to the learning environment. Children who received innovative corrective influences showed significant improvements in visual-auditory coordination, communication skills and the ability to perform educational tasks independently. Conclusions. Innovative correctional and developmental methods allow for effective educational results if appropriately adapted to children with sensory disordersʼ characteristics and needs. New methodological approaches form a favorable environment that encourages the childʼs active participation in the educational process, reduces the gap between developmental norms and current abilities, and contributes to psychological well-being.
