Strategies for the development of educational institutions in the context of digitalization and innovative changes

Abstract

Current trends in the development of the educational environment dictate the need for the integration of innovative teaching tools and digital optimization of the teaching process. The purpose of the article is to analyze the development strategies of modern educational institutions in the context of digitalization and innovative upgrade of the educational field. Methods. In the research process, general scientific methods were applied: analysis and synthesis, comparison, structural-logical method, systematization, generalization and abstraction. Results. The study considered effective approaches to ensuring the competitive advantages of an educational institution, which are oriented towards effective communication and strategic development. Innovative pedagogical tools based on digital solutions were considered: online platforms, interactive tools, gamification and storytelling, immersive technologies of virtual and mixed reality. The issue of rating educational institutions was updated. As part of the study, a pedagogical experiment was conducted involving elements of virtual reality technologies. The main advantages of innovative technologies were identified: increasing student motivation, improving the quality of material acquisition, variability in the presentation of educational information, implementing an individual approach and ensuring inclusion. Conclusions. The study substantiated that digital and innovative educational approaches allow for the formation of a holistic educational strategy for the development of educational institutions based on the concepts of improving the quality of education and forming competencies in demand in modern society. It was proven that the promising development of the educational environment should be oriented towards the requirements of the European environment, stimulating the expansion of private education opportunities, and integrating innovative approaches to management.
