Content and main directions of vocal and choral work of teachers of musical art in the context of preparing schoolchildren for participation in vocal and choral events

In the article, the author considers the current problem of forming performing vocal and choral skills in schoolchildren in the context of the main directions of systematic updating of forms, methods and means of vocal and choral work of teachers of musical art. To achieve the goal set in the article regarding the theoretical substantiation and determination of the essential and substantive aspects of the vocal and choral work of teachers of musical art in preparing students for participation in vocal and choral events, the author uses the method of theoretical analysis of the phenomenon under study to characterize its musical and psychological, vocal and technical, creative and activity, artistic and aesthetic, educational, performing and other aspects. The analysis of scientific and theoretical, methodological sources on the multifaceted issues of vocal and choral work allowed us to state its pedagogical potential in terms of the formation of practical vocal and choral skills and abilities in schoolchildren, the improvement of musical abilities, the intensification of comprehensive axiological and spiritual development, the formation of artistic and aesthetic tastes, ideals, value orientations, etc. The basis for the study of vocal and choral work according to the personal-motivational and procedural-activity directions in the context of their interrelation was a set of positions on the purposefulness and creative-activity nature of the process of vocal and choral work, the motivation of students to participate in public artistic vocal and choral events, the formation of a complex of knowledge in the field of vocal and choral performance. Ensuring the personal-motivational direction of vocal and choral work regarding the dialectics of the formation of students' performing vocal and choral skills is revealed in the context of pedagogical stimulation of cognitive interests and artistic and aesthetic needs related to vocal and choral performance. Ensuring the procedural-activity direction is based on the rehearsal aspect of musical and performing activity regarding the technological comprehension and reproduction of the product of the composer's creativity. Three groups of vocal and choral skills are classified, including: a group of skills in the field of vocal sound production and vocal technique, a group of skills in the field of choral singing, a group of skills in the field of comprehension and reproduction of the composer's creative idea. The results of the study are presented as a definition of the main directions of vocal and choral work in secondary education institutions in the context of preparing students for performances as part of vocal and choral groups. The essential and substantive aspects of vocal and choral work of teachers of musical art include: the complex and syncretic nature of the formation of vocal and choral skills, the correspondence of the content of vocal and choral work to musical-psychological, organizational, cognitive, vocal-technical and musical-performing tasks, the axiological and value orientation of vocal and choral work, the integration of pedagogical tools of both directions of vocal and choral work.
