The active introduction of innovative pedagogical practices into the training process for teachers of special design disciplines is driven by the need to update the content and methods of professional education. The rapid evolution of creative industries, digital technologies, and changes in the sociocultural context requires educators to have a high level of flexibility, interdisciplinarity, and the ability to generate new educational solutions. The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of innovative pedagogical practices on the quality of training teachers of design disciplines in the context of improving their professional competence, creativity, and adaptability to changes in the educational environment. A set of scientific methods was used in the research process. In particular, a critical analysis of scientific literature was carried out, which made it possible to evaluate existing approaches and theoretical foundations of the problem under study. For a clear presentation of data, a tabular method was used, which ensured effective structuring of information. The method of scientific abstraction made it possible to formulate conclusions and systematize the results obtained, highlighting the main conceptual approaches and factors that influence the quality of training of teachers of special design disciplines. The results indicate that the use of approaches such as design thinking, gamification, interactive projects, digital modeling, collaborative learning, and adaptive educational trajectories in the educational process significantly improves the quality of teaching and the motivation level of teachers. An important factor is the integration of ICT and multimedia tools, which personalize the learning experience and increase the effectiveness of professional content assimilation. The conclusions emphasize that innovative pedagogical practices ensure a qualitative update of methodological approaches in the training of teachers of design disciplines. Their systematic application forms new models of professional behavior for teachers, develops their ability for continuous learning, critical reflection on their own activities, and effective interaction with participants in the educational process. The study demonstrates the feasibility of further development and implementation of innovative strategies in higher art education, taking into account current trends in digitalization and interdisciplinarity.
