Abstract

Abstract: The objective of the study is to ensure effective acquisition by applicants of material in disciplines in the area of technical regulation (standardization, certification, quality management, metrology, etc.). This objective is achieved by developing a scientifically sound methodology for developing workbooks. They can serve as a methodological model for future teaching work of engineering teachers. To achieve this objective, principles for developing workbooks for academic disciplines in the area of technical regulation were developed and a workbook sample was created. The study found that a workbook for practical classes in educational components in the area of technical regulation (Standardization, Certification, Metrology, Quality Management, etc.) for engineering teachers should simultaneously be a professional simulator (promotes acquisition of professional knowledge in technical regulation) and a methodological designer (pedagogical skills to integrate knowledge in Technical Regulation into the educational process). Such a workbook provides practical elaboration of the main educational material, contributes to the optimization and increase of the efficiency of the educational process. Creative tasks organizationally and substantively support independent educational and cognitive activity of applicants. The presence of reflective tasks in the workbook is a tool for professional self-development, helps the applicant to see the logic of his/her activity and improve it. The prospect of further development and implementation of workbooks in the educational process for training engineers-teachers consists in conducting experimental psychological and pedagogical studies of their effectiveness as a means of activating the educational and cognitive activity of students and studying the possibilities of using digital tools as an alternative to printed materials.
