Abstract

Abstract: Abstract: the article considers the current problem of reducing the motor activity of athletes and youth in the context of intensification of training programs, widespread use of technical means and a passive lifestyle. It is determined that motor activity is an integral factor in harmonious physical development and maintaining health, especially during the period of growth of the body. The purpose of the article is to analyze outdoor games that can be used in the training process of athletes as a means of increasing motor activity. Methods. The research was conducted using bibliometric analysis, clustering and visualization methods within the framework of network analysis of scientific publications. Results. Based on the analysis of modern scientific research and publications, it was established that outdoor games are a universal means of increasing the motor activity of athletes, contribute to the development of physical qualities (strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, coordination), the formation of correct posture, and the improvement of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. In addition, they have a positive effect on the psychological state, motivation for training, socialization, and the formation of team interaction. Various approaches to the use of game forms in the training process are considered: small-sided games, gamification, and active video games. It is shown that varying game conditions allows the coach to regulate the intensity and physiological load, achieving effects comparable to high-performance interval training (HIIT). It is noted that games have a multifunctional nature: they combine physical, health-improving, psychological, socio-educational, and educational effects, and contribute to the development of attention, will, stress resistance, discipline, and collectivism. A number of unresolved problems are highlighted: the lack of systematization of outdoor games by sports and levels of athletes' preparedness, insufficient development of methods for assessing their impact on individual components of motor skills, the need to unify approaches to integrating games into the sports training system. The prospects for using digital technologies to control the effectiveness of game methods are especially emphasized. Conclusions. It is concluded that outdoor games are an effective tool for activating the training process, combine physical development with the formation of positive motivation for sports and create conditions for the harmonious development of the athlete's personality. However, further scientific research and standardization of methodological approaches are necessary for their widespread implementation. Key words: outdoor games, motor activity, athletes, physical qualities, training process.
