Abstract

The article explores the relationship between cultural identity, mental health, and the psychopedagogical role of modern linguists. It examines how linguists in a multilingual environment contribute not only to linguistic development, but also to emotional and psychological support of the individual. The importance of linguistic expression, ethnolinguistic belonging, and communicative adaptation for psychosocial well-being is emphasized. An interdisciplinary approach that combines linguistics, psychology, and pedagogy to create an inclusive educational space is substantiated. Theoretical foundations and practical models of psychopedagogical activity of linguists in the context of cultural diversity are presented. The aim of the article is to substantiate national values as a resource for the mental health of a future philologist in the cultural and psychological dimension. Methods. The study used the author's questionnaire and the modified methodology "Identity - Value - Cohesion" to assess national self-understanding, social expectations and the significance of national values among students of the Faculty of Philology of the VDPU. Results. Statistical analysis (Student's t-test) showed significant positive changes in the experimental group (p = 0.01; p = 0.05), which confirms the effectiveness of psychological and pedagogical influence. The inclusion of cultural and psychological practices in philological education contributes to the formation of national identity, internal stability and mental health of students. Conclusion. A philologist plays a strategic role as a carrier of humanitarian stability in the conditions of modern psychological challenges. The mental health of future philologists is formed through cultural identity, reflection and social experience, which ensures emotional stability, ethical maturity and internal integrity. The educational process, integrating humanities education, psychoeducation, and artistic interaction, contributes to the development of personal resilience and the transmission of values important for individual and collective well-being.
