Abstract

Abstract: The article examines the role of mobile games in the system of training athletes at the initial stage of sports improvement. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the importance of active games in the training system of athletes at the initial stage of sports improvement. General scientific methods of cognition were applied in the research: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, and a systemic approach. The results demonstrate that the training of athletes at the initial stage of sports improvement has specific features that distinguish it from the subsequent stages. It is concluded that this level is primarily characterized by the development of basic motor skills, improvement of general physical and coordination abilities, formation of positive motivation for sports activities, and creation of a favorable psychological climate in the educational and training process. It is shown that unlike the following stage, which focuses on specialization, individualization, and integration of various components of sports mastery, the initial training is based on a universal approach that ensures comprehensive athlete development. The study reveals that active games perform multifunctional tasks, including enhancing motor activity; improving speed, strength, endurance, agility, and flexibility; developing coordination abilities; shaping moral, volitional, and psychological qualities; preserving cultural heritage and strengthening national identity. It is concluded that the use of the game method helps maintain interest in training, creates a positive emotional background, and stimulates the comprehensive development of athletes. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of broad implementation of active games in the training process to increase the efficiency of novice athletes’ preparation.
