Abstract: Purpose. To determine the role of pedagogical reflection in the professional development of higher education teachers, identify its structural components, and outline the main ways of forming a reflective culture among teachers in the context of contemporary transformations in the educational sphere. Methods. The study uses a set of theoretical methods—systemic-structural, axiological, activity-based, comparative-analytical, and content analysis of contemporary scientific sources. The use of an interdisciplinary approach made it possible to reveal the essence of pedagogical reflection as an integrative process that combines cognitive, motivational-value, activity, and emotional-volitional components. The generalization of the results of empirical research and practices of professional development of teachers made it possible to identify effective tools for forming a reflective culture. Results. Pedagogical reflection is a mechanism of professional self-regulation that ensures teachers' awareness of their own actions, assessment of the effectiveness of pedagogical strategies, and the construction of an individual trajectory of professional growth. The content of the main components of reflection is revealed: the motivational-value component determines the attitude to professional activity and the desire for self-development; the cognitive component provides knowledge about the patterns of pedagogical interaction; the activity component manifests itself in the ability to self-analyze and correct actions; the emotional-volitional component supports emotional stability and self-control. Effective means of developing pedagogical reflection are identified: self-analysis of classes, keeping a pedagogical diary, creating a professional portfolio, using video reflection on Microsoft Teams or Zoom platforms, engaging in coaching, mentoring, supervision, and collegial forms of interaction. Systematic involvement in reflective activities contributes to the improvement of teachers' professional self-awareness, the prevention of professional burnout, and the development of critical thinking, empathy, and flexibility of thinking. Conclusions. Pedagogical reflection is a fundamental factor in the professional development of teachers, ensuring the unity of the cognitive, emotional, and moral dimensions of pedagogical activity. A developed reflective culture contributes to improving the quality of the educational process, forming humanistic relationships between teachers and students, and increasing pedagogical skills and readiness for innovation. Practical recommendations are proposed for the implementation of reflective technologies in the system of teacher training, the creation of a reflective educational environment, and the support of communities of practice in higher education institutions.
