Abstract

Abstract: The article provides a scientific and theoretical justification of the role of soft skills in the modern education system, reveals their relationship with the development of emotional intelligence and the formation of leadership competencies. It is determined that flexible skills are the basis of effective social interaction, professional development and personal development of education seekers. The purpose of the study is to generalize modern theoretical and practical approaches to the formation of soft skills in education seekers of different age periods and identify the role of emotional intelligence and leadership qualities in this process. Methods. The methodological basis of the study is scientific methods of analysis, synthesis and comparison, generalization of scientific sources, system-structural and competency approaches. Results. In the process of the study, it was revealed that the formation of soft skills in educational institutions should be based on the integration of training, project, coaching and immersive methods. The need for a systemic approach to the formation of soft skills, which covers all levels of education - from preschool to higher education, is substantiated. Based on the analysis of domestic and international experience, effective pedagogical models that contribute to the development of communication, critical thinking, emotional culture, teamwork and leadership are summarized. It is proven that the use of VR/AR technologies enhances the emotional involvement of students, stimulates the development of empathy, self-regulation and cooperation. Practical recommendations are proposed for the formation of soft skills through continuous education, starting from the preschool level, where the emotional foundation is laid, and ending with higher education, where these skills acquire a professional orientation. Conclusions. The obtained conclusions indicate that the development of soft skills is a determining factor in preparing an individual for life in the digital economy, contributes to increasing social responsibility, the ability to self-development and manage emotions. The obtained conclusions can be used in the practice of pedagogical education, professional training of future specialists, as well as in the development of curricula and training courses aimed at the development of emotional intelligence and leadership competencies.
