The rapid digital transformation of the financial sector highlights the critical role of programming in shaping the professional training of specialists. Python, with its robust tools for data analysis and modeling, serves as a key instrument for bridging theoretical financial knowledge with practical computational skills. This study explores how this integration can enhance graduates' competitiveness in the dynamic FinTech landscape. Objective. The research aims to substantiate the significance of Python in developing professional competencies for FinTech specialists, emphasizing the integration of technological tools into educational curricula. It evaluates approaches to combining financial expertise with computational methods to bolster analytical capabilities and adaptability to digital transformations in banking and investment sectors. Methods. A comprehensive methodology was employed, encompassing a review of contemporary scholarly sources to assess existing practices, theoretical modeling of pedagogical strategies, and detailed analysis of applied techniques. These include systematizing implementation conditions, such as interdisciplinary coordination and the development of digital platforms. An in-depth examination of methods was conducted, ranging from problem-based analysis of real-world scenarios to collaborative development of code-based solutions. This approach facilitates an evaluation of impacts on cognitive processes through the lens of constructivist theories and practical tasks utilizing data processing libraries. Results. The findings indicate that Python is an effective catalyst for improving critical information evaluation and task automation, particularly in risk modeling and market trend forecasting. Project-based assignments foster the integration of economic and computational knowledge, while case-based exercises help develop the ability to interpret large datasets swiftly. Furthermore, collaborative learning formats strengthen team dynamics, and the progressive complexity of tasks—from basic scripts to advanced predictive models—ensures sustained competency growth. Conclusions. The systematic incorporation of Python into education not only improves graduates' practical readiness but also lays the foundation for innovative solutions in the financial sector. It is recommended to adapt curricula to align with dynamic market demands, opening avenues for further exploration of the ethical dimensions of technology use.Downloads
