Comprehensive analysis of audiovisual texts as an educational practice for forming digital competence of students of art institutions of higher education

Abstract: The article examines the issue of using audiovisual media in the process of acquiring digital competence by students of higher education institutions of art. The role of audiovisual technologies in enhancing the effectiveness of implementing innovative teaching methods is specified. The possibilities of using the analysis of visual and audiovisual texts in the context of acquiring digital competence and technological and didactic training of future specialists in the field of culture and arts are considered. It is stated that audiovisual media, as the quintessence of forms of social communication that directly work with images, photographs and audio to transmit messages, contribute to the development of new pedagogical, didactic and methodological strategies, interaction between students and a creative approach to understanding educational material. It is stated that the level of effectiveness of optimizing the educational process using audiovisual media directly depends on the planning, organization, implementation, control and evaluation of educational protocols related to audiovisual tools. The results of the study prove that a promising initiative aimed at increasing the level of acquisition of digital competence by students of art institutions of higher education is the modernization of relevant curricula by means of including the analysis of audiovisual forms. This contributes to the training of future workers in the field of culture and arts in strategies of critical analysis and the development of creative skills that will allow them to create and evaluate their own audiovisual works in digital format. The opinion is expressed on the prospects for introducing the analysis of audiovisual texts into the curricula of basic training for students of art institutions of higher education in Ukraine, developed in accordance with UNESCO standards on information and digital competence.Downloads
