Abstract

The article is a holistic study of the scientific and methodological profile of Anatoly Podolinny and his artistic creativity, since the studied figure revealed himself in ethnopedagogical and ethnopsychological, literary and linguistic, in historiosophical and nationalistic, in local history and psychohistorical varieties of creativity. The literary and artistic, translation, and journalistic heritage of Anatoly Podolinny is characterized by such tendencies and accents that allow us in the twenty-first century to deepen our understanding of turbulent modernity, analyze the cause-and-effect relationships of defeats in the development of Ukrainian statehood, and outline the prospects for the development of national education. The figure of Anatoly Podolinny as a scientist, teacher, lecturer, and writer is distinguished by academic, analytical depth, and folk simplicity and accessibility, knowledge of folk life and world culture. He represents the philological school of poetry in Podillia, sometimes he is qualified as a thawer from Podillia. Therefore, the scientific article examines the traditions that Anatoliy Podolinnyi initiated in scientific and artistic creativity, where eco-ethical and eco-aesthetic motifs, regional and linguistic symbols, historiosophical and nationalistic imagery, and deep piety of his native land, namely Vinnytsia and Podillia, dominate. The figure of Anatoliy Podolinnyi is characterized by the fact that he belongs to two eras in his activities, and is rightly considered a representative of entire creative generations, in particular, to regional, academic, and philological ones. The forerunners here are, as Anatoliy Podolinnyi himself defined, researching the formation of education in Podillia, in Vinnytsia: Yuriy Klen (Oswald Burgardt), Petro Karmansky, Volodymyr Svidzinsky, Vasyl Stus, Borys Khomenko. On parallels to Anatoliy Podolinnyi are such figures as: Mykhailo Strelbytskyi, Hryhir Movchanyuk, Mykola Bondar, Tetyana Yakovenko. The study embodies the need to rethink the legacy of the author, whose work is dense, definitive, fruitful, at the same time, since, combining, scientific, pedagogical and literary activities mark passionarity, give an idea of the complexity of the thinker's work. The discourse gives us grounds to talk about Anatoliy Podolinnyi as an artist of didactic and philological types, and not a single-plane one. The corpus of available research on the development of Ukrainian science and art during the period of the restoration of Independence is such that it does not contain layers of ideology or prejudices, since the analyzed author did not speculate on any of the topics raised, did not speculate on descriptiveness and encouraged his reader to immerse himself in psychohistory, ethnology, psycholinguistics, in a whole range of those new practices that appeared at the junction of the well-known, classical ones. The circumstances of the formation of Anatoly Podolinny's creative personality, the features of his creative search, the role of the author-didactic and the author-writer, the author-literary critic and the author-local historian, the author-publicist and the author-translator, the features of his professional experience, that is, pedagogical and literary, are determined by several combinations, which will continue to arouse interest in interdisciplinary studies.
