The article addresses the issue of professional training for future specialists within the context of developing "soft skills," with communicative competence playing a pivotal role. Modern labor market conditions require higher education graduates to possess not only deep professional knowledge but also the capacity for effective teamwork, empathy, and rapid social adaptation. Traditional forms of physical education often focus exclusively on developing physical qualities, overlooking the powerful socializing potential of physical activity. The study substantiates that group fitness programs serve as a unique pedagogical tool, allowing for the integration of health-related objectives with the development of interpersonal communication skills. The purpose of the research is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally verify the effectiveness of implementing an original methodology using group fitness tools to develop the communicative skills of university students. The study employed a complex of methods: analysis of scientific literature, pedagogical observation, sociometric measurements, testing for levels of communicative tolerance and organizational abilities, as well as methods of mathematical statistics. The experimental phase involved introducing classes into the educational process that combined elements of functional training, step aerobics, and Pilates with specific partner interaction tasks. The results of the pedagogical experiment demonstrate positive dynamics in the development of communication skills, reduction of social anxiety, increased group cohesion, and enhancement of emotional intelligence. It is concluded that group fitness programs are an effective means for the non-specific development of students’ communicative potential, contributing to their social adaptation and professional preparation.Downloads
