Abstract. The aim of the article is to identify the specific features of design projecting in the organisation of team projects on the development of clothing collections in the training of pre-service Technology teachers and vocational education teachers, as well as to reveal the educational potential of the student Fashion Theatre as a space for implementing such activity. The research methods included analysis and synthesis of scholarly sources on design projecting of garments and the formation of project and project-design culture of future specialists; systematisation of theoretical approaches to organising team learning and professional activity; content analysis of publications on the activity of the Fashion Theatre of the Faculty of Technologies and Design at V. G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University; and generalisation of pedagogical experience in implementing team design projects. The results clarify the content of the concept of design projecting as a holistic process that spans from the analysis of consumer needs to the presentation of a finished clothing collection; its role is substantiated as a system-forming component of project-technological activity that integrates creative, technological, organisational and communicative components of training. The step-by-step organisation of team projects in design projecting of clothing collections is described, and their potential for shaping project culture, experience of distributing professional roles, shared responsibility and collective planning is demonstrated. The Fashion Theatre is characterised as an effective educational environment in which team projects contribute to the development of learners’ digital, communicative and presentation skills, and enhance educational and value-oriented effects through addressing themes of civic position, national identity and social sensitivity. It is concluded that the systemic implementation of team design projects focused on clothing collection development brings the educational process closer to real conditions of the fashion and light industries, promotes the formation of integrated competences of future specialists in technological and vocational education and can be regarded as a promising direction for improving the content and technologies of their professional training.Downloads
