Abstract

The studyʼs relevance stems from the growing need to modernize preschool education in Ukraine by integrating digital platforms that enhance the quality, accessibility, and developmental effectiveness of the educational process. The purpose of the article is to reveal the functional potential of digital platforms and substantiate their role in transforming pedagogical, communicative, and managerial practices in preschool education institutions. The methods used are: analysis of the scientific literature to examine the current state of research on the issues addressed in the article, and generalization and systematization to present the study's results. Results. The potential of digital environments to support cognitive, speech, social, and emotional development is considered, and the patterns of their influence on children's educational motivation and involvement are analyzed. The methodological and organizational principles for implementing digital platforms in preschool education institutions are substantiated, in particular, by age-based requirements for content, the teacher's digital competence, and the balance between digital and traditional activities. It is considered how digital platforms optimize document flow, simplify communication with parents and support individual educational trajectories in preschool institutions. It is shown that digital tools significantly expand educators' pedagogical tools, improve monitoring of child development, and increase transparency in cooperation between teachers and parents. It is also established that the effective use of platforms contributes to the modernization of management practices, ensuring more coherent planning and data-based decision-making. Conclusions. It is emphasized that digital platforms are becoming an essential driver of systemic transformations in preschool education, provided that their implementation is pedagogically sound, ethically responsible and supported by an appropriate digital infrastructure. Further development of digitalization in preschool institutions requires strengthening teacher training, ensuring digital equality, and prioritizing the safety and well-being of children as the main principles of technological integration.
