Abstract

In today's environment of dynamic social change, growing competition in the labor market, and high demands for professional mobility, the development of leadership potential in future specialists is becoming particularly important. Leadership qualities are no longer considered innate characteristics; today, they are seen as a system of personal and social competencies that can be purposefully developed in the educational process. The relevance of this research is determined by the need to train specialists who are able to interact effectively, manage group processes, make decisions in conditions of uncertainty, show initiative, and contribute to the development of professional communities. The article provides a theoretical and practical analysis of the problem of developing the leadership potential of specialists in the conditions of today's dynamic professional environment. The results of domestic and foreign studies confirming the effectiveness of training programs in the formation of leadership qualities are summarized. The essence of the concept of “leadership potential” as an integral personal formation that combines individual psychological, motivational, value, and behavioral characteristics necessary for effective leadership is revealed. The relevance of targeted development of leadership qualities is justified in view of the challenges of modernity – the growing complexity of social processes, the need for managerial initiative, readiness for change, and responsible decision-making. It has been determined that one of the most effective technologies for activating the leadership potential of future specialists is socio-psychological training based on the principles of active learning, group dynamics, reflection, and the experience of modeling new forms of behavior. The essence, functions, and principles of training as an interactive form of learning that integrates knowledge, skills, and experience and creates conditions for self-development and reflection have been analyzed. The prospects for introducing training technologies into the educational process as an effective tool for developing modern leaders have been outlined.
