Abstract. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the pedagogical conditions of effective musical and rhythmic education in gymnastic sports and to determine the possibilities of integrating musical and rhythmic means into the system of the educational and training process in order to increase the level of coordination abilities, motor expressiveness and artistry of athletes. In the process of research, a complex of general scientific and special methods was applied, in particular, analysis, synthesis, generalization and systematization of scientific sources on the problems of musical and rhythmic education, theory and methods of sports training and pedagogy of physical culture. The method of comparative analysis was used to compare domestic and foreign approaches to the use of musical and rhythmic means in gymnastic sports, as well as the method of theoretical modeling in order to determine the pedagogical conditions for their effective implementation in educational and training practice. According to the results of the analysis, it was established that musical and rhythmic education is an important factor in the comprehensive training of gymnasts, which has a positive effect on the development of coordination abilities, spatial and temporal orientation, motor culture and artistic expressiveness. It was determined that the effectiveness of the use of musical and rhythmic means is determined by observing a number of pedagogical conditions, including the purposeful integration of musical accompaniment into the educational and training process, taking into account the age and individual psychomotor characteristics of athletes, the gradual complication of exercises and the combination of technical and artistic and aesthetic components of training. The feasibility of using musical and rhythmic exercises at different stages of training is substantiated - from the formation of basic rhythmic and coordination skills to the improvement of complex compositional and competitive programs. Conclusions. Musical and rhythmic education should be considered as an integrated pedagogical component of the training system in gymnastic sports, which ensures the unity of the physical, technical and artistic development of athletes. The implementation of substantiated pedagogical conditions contributes to increasing the effectiveness of the educational and training process, improving the quality of motor performances and forming a high level of motor expressiveness and artistry. Prospects for further research are associated with experimental verification of the effectiveness of the proposed pedagogical conditions in the practice of training gymnasts of different levels of qualification.Downloads
