The impact of fitball aerobics classes on the level of physical condition of women in the second period of adulthood

Abstract

Abstract. The analysis of literature, domestic and foreign experience gives reason to claim that a large number of scientific studies are devoted to the problem of the physical condition of mature women. However, in the literature, a significant number of studies are presented to the study of women of the first period of mature age, while the second period of mature age of women has not been sufficiently studied. Taking into account the morpho-functional changes that occur in the body of women of the second period of adulthood, the tendency to mood swings, the need to prevent cardiovascular diseases and diseases of the musculoskeletal system, fitball aerobics are the most rational for women of the second period of adulthood. To achieve the goal, the following methods were used in the research: theoretical analysis of literary sources, sociological methods, methods of assessing the level of physical condition according to E.A. Pirogov, physiological research methods, anthropometric research methods, methods of mathematical statistics. In the process of research, a program of classes on fitball aerobics for mature women was developed and its effectiveness was checked. Results. The effectiveness of the developed program of fitball aerobics classes for mature women was revealed on the basis of the dynamics of physical condition indicators. In the process of systematic classes, the level of physical condition in mature women was optimized. Thus, the high level of physical condition increased from 0 % to 6.25 % of women, the above-average level increased from 31.25 % to 50 %, women with a low level of physical condition at the end of the study were not found, which indicates a positive effect of fitball aerobics on the morpho-functional indicators of the body of women: decrease in body weight of women from 75.5±1.2 to 66.7±2.1 kg; decrease in blood pressure indicators: from 141.2±4.4/85.1±2.9 mmHg to 129.5±5.5/90.0±2.5 mmHg; decrease in resting heart rate from 92 to 79 bpm. Conclusions. Fitball aerobics is one of the effective types of motor activity for mature women.
