Abstract: The purpose of this article is to provide a comprehensive analysis of modern pedagogical approaches to the training of future economists in pre-tertiary vocational education institutions. To achieve this goal, a systematic analysis of current requirements for professional training of students in economic specialties was conducted in the context of economic transformation, digitalization, and the implementation of sustainable and circular economy principles, as well as the potential of practice-oriented and dual learning approaches was examined. Methods used include analysis of scientific sources, comparison, systematization, and generalization of practical experience. The results indicate that digital educational environments characterized by flexibility, mobility, interactivity, modularity, individualized learning, and seamless integration of network resources significantly enhance the effectiveness of professional training, foster the development of information-analytical competence, digital skills, and systems thinking, which are necessary for decision-making in complex economic conditions. The implementation of dual learning combined with public-private partnerships ensures a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, provides students with real professional experience, facilitates adaptation to labor market requirements, and increases graduates’ competitiveness. Analysis of the circular economy competency matrix confirmed the importance of integrating knowledge, practical skills, and value orientations into professional training, developing systems and multi-perspective thinking, project skills, and the ability to apply circular business models. The findings underscore the need to update the content, forms, and methods of professional training in vocational colleges through active use of digital educational environments, practice-oriented learning, dual education, and public-private partnerships, collectively ensuring the formation of practically significant competencies and preparing graduates for professional activity in the modern economic environment.Downloads
