Music therapy as a means of psychological support in the educational environment

The article examines music therapy as one of the effective means of psychological support for the individual in the modern educational environment. The relevance of using music therapy in the conditions of increasing psycho-emotional load on participants in the educational process, caused by social, crisis and stress factors, is substantiated. Scientific approaches to defining the concept of "music therapy", its functions and mechanisms of influence on the emotional state, mental health and behavioral reactions of the individual are considered. The influence of music on the regulation of emotions, reducing anxiety, stabilizing the psycho-emotional state, developing emotional intelligence and increasing motivation for educational activities is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the possibilities of using music therapy in working with children and youth of different ages, as well as in the system of psychological support for pedagogical workers. The main forms of music therapy are highlighted - active and receptive, their methods and practical techniques adapted to the educational space. The conditions for the effective implementation of music therapy elements in the educational process are outlined, in particular the interdisciplinary interaction of teachers, psychologists and art specialists. It is concluded that the integration of music therapy into the educational environment contributes to the formation of a psychologically safe, supportive and humanistically oriented space, increases the level of psychological well-being of participants in the educational process and can be an effective means of preventing emotional burnout and maladjustment. Prospects for further research are seen in studying the practical experience of implementing music therapy in educational institutions of different levels, assessing its effectiveness in inclusive and distance learning, as well as in developing methodological recommendations for the systematic use of music therapy practices as a component of psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process.Downloads
