The Influence of Factors on the Development of Students’ Creative Personality in the Educational Environment

The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the essence of the educational environment of a general secondary education institution and to identify the factors of its influence on the development of students’ creative personality. In the course of the research, the methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, and systematization of scientific, pedagogical, and psychological literature on the problems of personality formation in the educational environment were used. A comparative and logical analysis was applied to determine the main approaches to interpreting the concept of the “educational environment” and the factors of its influence on the development of a student’s personality. The article reveals the conceptual foundations of the educational environment and defines its structural components and functional characteristics. The influence of social, pedagogical, psychodidactic, and spatial–material factors on the development of students’ creative abilities, social activity, and cognitive processes is analyzed. The leading role of education and upbringing as regulatory factors of personality development is substantiated, as they are capable of enhancing the positive influence of the environment and neutralizing negative factors. Emphasis is placed on the importance of teacher–student cooperation, partnership-based interaction, the creation of situations of success, and the formation of conditions for self-education and self-upbringing. The educational environment of a general secondary education institution has significant potential for the formation of a creative, socially active, and competent student personality. The effectiveness of its influence is ensured by the holistic organization of the educational process, the use of modern pedagogical approaches, and an orientation toward students’ personal development, which corresponds to the objectives of modernizing national education and its integration into the European and global educational space.Downloads
