Modernization of primary education through the introduction of academic mobility programs as a factor in the development of soft skills

Abstract

Modern society is marked by the globalization of education and knowledge, which contributes to the formation of a single global educational space through the convergence of approaches to the organization of education and the recognition of soft skills. The European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and the European Research Area (ERA) contribute to the formation of a modern European knowledge society. The academic mobility of students and teaching staff now increases the relevance of this process, which ensures their mobility and contributes to the formation of a common educational space.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the modernization of primary education through the introduction of academic mobility programs as a factor in the development of soft skills.

Ukraine is also actively integrating into the European educational and scientific space through the improvement of legal norms and academic mobility programs that promote the exchange of experience in the fields of education and science. The development of soft skills, such as communication, leadership, creativity and others, is becoming a key aspect of successful academic mobility and modernization of primary education in Ukraine. The implementation of academic mobility programs at Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University shows the positive results of this initiative, which contribute to the improvement of the quality of education and integration into the European educational space.

In the context of primary education, the integration of academic mobility programs has significant potential for improving the quality of the educational process. Research and evaluation of existing programs, as well as development of new ones, are important aspects contributing to the integration of Ukraine into the European scientific and educational space. For example, participation in Erasmus+ programs, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and other international initiatives increases the quality of education and scientific research, promotes the development of international cooperation and strengthens partnership relations between countries.

The conclusions indicate that academic mobility not only contributes to the personal development and professional growth of participants, but also opens up new opportunities for cooperation between universities, the development of international partnerships and the attraction of investments in higher education in Ukraine. Integration of pedagogical institutions of higher education of Ukraine into the European educational space through academic mobility involves a combination of traditional instructional methods with innovative approaches. Special attention is paid to the development of soft skills among teaching staff and future teachers of primary education, which contributes to their preparation for effective participation in academic mobility programs.
