Abstract

This study aims to figure out how teacher leadership helps adjust teaching methods for remote learning during tough times, specifically under martial law in Ukraine. It's also looking for reliable methods to keep education thriving. This subject is important because long-term issues have led to big challenges, forcing schools to swiftly adapt to online and hybrid learning models. Recent research dives deep into tech and online trends, but it's missing the mark on how teacher leadership steers the ship, keeps students engaged, and hones crucial skills when the waters get rough. Methods. The research methodology is based on the analysis and synthesis of recent scientific publications, official reports of international and national organizations, a comparative review of distance and blended learning practices, as well as the systematization of empirical data on the use of digital platforms and tools in the educational process. The study used methods of theoretical analysis, synthesis, generalization of pedagogical experience and interpretation of statistical data, which allowed to identify key trends and problems in the implementation of distance learning in crisis conditions. The results of the study. The results convincingly demonstrate that the teaching staff is able to effectively transform their own didactic approaches in accordance with the requirements of the distance learning format. The decisive factor in such transformation is the professional subjectivity of teachers, which is manifested in the ability to independently initiate changes, pedagogical experimentation and the organic inclusion of digital services, interactive educational resources and technologically mediated solutions in the structure of the educational process. The generalized data demonstrate that the combination of synchronous interaction with asynchronous forms of presentation of educational material, as well as the systematic use of learning management environments, video communication platforms and channels of operational information exchange, contributes to the growth of educational engagement of education seekers, increased transparency in monitoring their educational achievements, the development of professionally oriented communication skills, intercultural sensitivity and readiness for future professional activity. At the same time, the effectiveness of distance learning in crisis conditions is largely determined by the personal and leadership qualities of the teacher, in particular the ability to empathize, pedagogical plasticity and reflective attention to the psycho-emotional state of students. Сonclusion. Summarizing all the above considerations, it should be firmly stated that the role of teacher leadership becomes absolutely decisive when it comes to preserving and qualitatively increasing the educational impact of distance learning, especially in conditions of critical situations and acute crises that constantly arise in the modern world. Moreover, subject to the implementation of truly intellectual curricula, continuous professional training of teaching staff and timely provision of the necessary technological means, the distance form of acquiring knowledge acquires a dual functionality: it not only continues the educational process for the population, but also effectively forms competitive specialists who are able to demonstrate success and effectively navigate even in the most difficult conditions of modern professional activity.
