Abstract

The article examines the methods of adapting the teaching of foreign languages in a professional direction to the specifics of various types of military activity to ensure the effective training of military personnel.

Objective - analysis of the methods of adapting the teaching of foreign languages ​​in a professional direction to the specifics of various types of military activity to ensure the effective training of military personnel.

Methods. When studying the adaptation of foreign language teaching methods in a professional direction to various types of military activity, such methods as questionnaires and surveys, observation and analysis of texts, documents, instructions, technical descriptions, reports and the development of scenarios and role-playing games that simulate real situations are used. arise during military activity.

These methods allow a comprehensive approach to the adaptation of foreign language teaching methods, taking into account the specific requirements and conditions of various types of military activity.

Results. It has been found that in modern conditions, when professional communication requires military personnel not only general knowledge of foreign languages, but also specialized skills, the educational discipline «Foreign language for professional direction» acts as a key to the development of the necessary competencies. This course contributes to the development of personal, professional and cultural qualities of specialists, preparing them to use the language in various contexts: everyday, cultural and professional. Through integration with the professional goals of the military, the discipline gains importance, in particular, for military personnel participating in international exercises. The content of the course has been updated taking into account modern pedagogical technologies and a person-oriented approach, which provides a deep knowledge of phonetics, morphology, vocabulary and syntax of the English language. An important place is also occupied by mastering specialized terminology and sociocultural aspects of communication, which is necessary for effective interaction in the international arena.

Conclusions.It is analyzed how a deep analysis of communicative situations characteristic of various branches of the military forces contributes to the development of more effective training strategies. It was determined that the integration of specialized terminology and lexical items is key to ensuring the relevance of language training, which enables adequate training of military personnel. The need for a flexible approach to teaching, which takes into account the changing conditions of military operations and different levels of personnel training, has been proved. It was found that the active use of authentic materials and the development of situational exercises and role-playing games ensure the practical application of skills in real conditions, significantly increasing the motivation and efficiency of the educational process. The conclusions drawn emphasize the importance of the further development of individualized training modules aimed at specific aspects of the professional activity of military personnel in order to achieve optimal results in international operations.
