Abstract

The article examines the features of integrating production practice into design and innovation training of design specialists in the context of using innovative methods and practice-oriented approaches. The purpose of the study is to substantiate pedagogical conditions and determine the role of production practice in the formation of professional competencies of future designers, as well as to determine the effectiveness of using project-oriented learning, design thinking, and case methods to ensure the practical focus of training. The research methods included an analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature on the problems of professional and design education, a comparative analysis of existing models of specialist training, a generalization of practical experience in organizing production and design practice, as well as methods of pedagogical experiment and systematization of the obtained data. Particular attention is paid to the description of innovative approaches to organizing production practice, which contribute to the formation of practice-oriented competencies, the development of critical thinking, creativity and the ability to independently make professional decisions. The results of the study showed that the integration of production practice into design and innovation training allows to increase the effectiveness of the formation of the professional culture of future designers, ensures a combination of theoretical and practical components of training, and also creates conditions for the implementation of interdisciplinary and innovative educational projects. It was established that the use of practice-oriented and innovative teaching methods contributes to the development of students' professional competence and forms readiness to perform complex design tasks in modern conditions of creative industries. The conclusions of the article emphasize that the integration of production practice into the design and innovation training of specialists in the field of design is an effective means of ensuring the practice-oriented nature of professional education, contributes to increasing the level of professional readiness of future specialists and creates a basis for the introduction of the latest pedagogical technologies into the educational process. The results of the study can be used to modernize the programs of professional and practical training of designers, optimize production practice and introduce innovative methods into the design education system.
