Abstract

The relevance of the study is determined by the need to enhance the effectiveness of physical training of future specialists in physical culture and sports through the application of innovative approaches. An important direction of such training is the rational combination of aerobic and strength loads, which ensures a high level of physical and functional fitness, adaptive capacities of the body, and readiness for professional activity. The purpose of the article is to scientifically substantiate and experimentally verify the effectiveness of an innovative physical education program aimed at improving the level of physical and functional fitness of future specialists in physical culture and sports under blended learning conditions. The study employed a pedagogical experiment, pedagogical testing, functional tests (Stange and Genchi), integral indicators of functional status, the methodology of S. A. Dushanin, and statistical data analysis. The formative experiment involved 75 students (male and female), assigned to control and experimental groups. It was established that the implementation of an innovative program combining aerobic and strength loads with the use of modern fitness tools provided a significantly better dynamics of physical fitness indicators compared to the traditional program. The experimental groups demonstrated a substantial increase in endurance, strength, speed-strength abilities, flexibility and agility. Significant improvements in the functional state of the cardiorespiratory system were recorded, including increased resistance to hypoxia, higher Skibinski index values and decreased Robinson index, indicating more economical cardiovascular functioning. The analysis of energy supply mechanisms revealed an increase in the power of anaerobic alactic, anaerobic glycolytic and aerobic components. The effectiveness of the developed innovative program in improving the physical and functional fitness of future specialists in physical culture and sports has been proven. The obtained results substantiate the feasibility of implementing this program in the physical education system of higher education institutions.
