Abstract: The selected problem of a teacher's readiness for innovative activity in postgraduate studies is actualized by the latest challenges, because the orientation of a scientific and pedagogical worker to the development of his professional abilities and to achieving higher results is a necessary condition for gaining experience in implementing innovative activity. The modern educational paradigm is based on the comprehensive development of the individual throughout his professional activity. There is an urgent problem of developing and implementing innovative technologies for managing the development of scientific and pedagogical workers of higher education institutions as the main centers for producing highly qualified specialists in various specialties. The professional development of teachers is directly proportional to the successful preparation of higher education applicants in postgraduate studies. The problem of a future teacher's readiness for innovative activity in postgraduate studies is insufficiently studied and requires research. Purpose. Accordingly, the purpose of the article is to study the problem of readiness of a future teacher for innovative activity in postgraduate studies. In accordance with the purpose of the study, we have defined the following research tasks: to analyze the theoretical foundations of the readiness of a teacher for innovative activity; to identify the features of the readiness of a teacher for innovative activity in postgraduate studies; to conduct an experimental study of the readiness of a scientific and pedagogical worker for innovative activity in postgraduate studies. The experimental study was conducted within the framework of educational monitoring as a system for organizing the collection, storage, processing and dissemination of information about the activities of the pedagogical system, which provides continuous monitoring of its state and forecasting its development, because the process of reforming higher education in Ukraine against the background of the present is aimed at student-centrism, which provides for new approaches to the training of student youth in higher education institutions Methods. To achieve the goal and solve the declared tasks, we used such methods as theoretical: analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization, classification, generalization of pedagogical scientific literature; specific-search - to explain and generalize the processed materials - the formulation of conclusions, as well as such methods of educational monitoring as questionnaires, surveys, which give a good result when studying the quality of the educational process, in particular, the readiness of the teacher for innovative activity in postgraduate studies. Conclusions. The results of the study showed that postgraduates consider readiness for innovative activity to be one of the important qualities of a scientific and pedagogical worker, an indicator of his success as a professional, and also that innovative pedagogical technologies have many advantages, but their application requires careful preparation and consideration of possible shortcomings.Downloads
