Methodological principles of implementing active forms of training in the course "Labor safety" in the process of studying at a higher educational institution

Abstract. The article provides a comprehensive theoretical substantiation and develops the methodological foundations for implementing active learning forms into the training process of future teachers within the courses "Occupational Health and Safety in the Industry" and "Life Safety". The author emphasizes the discrepancy between traditional lecture formats and the modern requirements of a safe educational environment, which necessitates a transition to practice-oriented methodologies. Research methods. Within the research, the essence and pedagogical potential of such active learning forms as simulation-gaming technologies (business and role-playing games), the case-study method (analysis of real accidents in educational institutions), and specialized training sessions are analyzed. The organizational and methodological conditions ensuring the effective transformation of students' theoretical knowledge into stable professional safety management skills are identified. Research results. Based on the results of the conducted pedagogical experiment it is proven that the use of active methods contributes to a significant increase in the level of safety competence formation among future teachers. The role of activating cognitive activity in shaping the motivation to create a safe environment and developing the ability for rapid decision-making in emergency situations is determined. Conclusions.The article contains practical recommendations for university lecturers on improving the teaching methodology of safety disciplines in the face of modern challenges.Downloads
