Abstract

The article highlights the peculiarities of the use of multimedia technologies in primary school and highlights methodological aspects. The relevance of the research is determined by the fact that in the conditions of the development of modern education, the use of multimedia technologies in the educational activities of junior high school students has positive aspects, such as better perception of information, development of creative abilities, motivation of learning and active participation of students in class work. Scientific and technical progress, the development of modern computer and communication equipment capable of processing and presenting various types of information. The purpose of the article is to clarify the features and methodological recommendations for the use of technologies that allow using a computer to integrate means and methods with information to stimulate the educational activities of elementary school students. The research methods include synthesis, analysis, comparison, generalization. The main results of the research formulated the methodological features of the use of multimedia technologies. An important aspect is also the training of future primary schoolteachers who are able to apply educational knowledge using modern multimedia technologies. This article examines the features of using modern technological means to present students with various types of educational information. It is highlighted that multimedia technologies as a modern form of information presentation includes text (oral and written), still images (tables, graphics, illustrations), audio, video and animation. The use of modern methods of audiovisual information processing (convenient navigation, flexible segmentation, interactivity) and the simultaneous and vivid impact on various organs of perception of students improves the educational process and increases the efficiency of assimilation of educational information. In the conclusions of the study, the effectiveness and expediency of using multimedia technologies in primary school lessons to activate the educational activity of students, develop their creative abilities, stimulate the growth of cognitive activity of students, develop thinking, enrich vocabulary and expand the horizons of students are presented.
