Abstract. The article provides a theoretical substantiation and outlines methodological foundations for the formation of artistic and figurative thinking in future teachers of fine arts through the integration of traditional and digital technologies. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to combine academic painting training with digital tools in the modern educational environment. Methods: The study employed theoretical research methods, including analysis, synthesis, generalization and systematization of scientific sources in philosophy, psychology, pedagogy and art studies; comparative analysis of traditional and digital teaching technologies; modeling of the structure of artistic and figurative thinking and its methodological formation. Results: The structural components of artistic and figurative thinking (perceptual, constructive-figurative, and creative-transformative) were identified; the expediency of integrating traditional and digital teaching tools was substantiated; a system of step-by-step exercises and creative tasks aimed at forming a holistic artistic image was developed. Conclusions: It has been proven that the pedagogically grounded integration of academic painting practices and digital technologies creates methodological conditions for the purposeful formation of artistic and figurative thinking and ensures the systematic nature of professional training of future fine arts teachers.Downloads
