Results. It was established that the modern organization of teaching team sports games in higher education institutions is characterized by the predominance of traditional methods aimed mainly at the formation of technical and tactical skills and abilities, which does not fully ensure the development of social, communicative and leadership competencies of students. Practical recommendations have been developed for improving the organization of the educational process, which include individualization of learning, application of motivational strategies, implementation of digital tools, development of team interaction and a comprehensive system for assessing learning outcomes.
