Abstract

Abstract. Objective. Тhe article is to provide a theoretical substantiation of counseling activity as an integrative type of professional interaction in the socionomic sphere and to determine its structural characteristics within the context of professional training of specialists in “human–human” professions. The relevance of the study is обусловлена by the increasing complexity of social processes and the need to form holistic readiness to provide professional support under conditions of uncertainty. Methods. The study employs theoretical and methodological analysis, generalization of scientific sources, as well as systemic and interdisciplinary approaches. The systemic approach made it possible to consider counseling activity as a structured integrity, while the interdisciplinary approach ensured the integration of pedagogy, psychology, and social work perspectives for a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon under study. Results. The concept of “counseling activity” in the socionomic context is clarified and its integrative nature is substantiated. It is determined that counseling activity combines cognitive, communicative-operational, value-ethical, and reflective components. A model of counseling interaction is proposed, which includes establishing contact, analyzing the situation, jointly defining strategies, and reflecting on outcomes. It is confirmed that the effectiveness of counseling activity depends on the integration of professional knowledge, personal resources, and the specialist’s responsible professional position. Conclusions. Counseling activity is a complex integrative form of professional interaction that ensures the coherence of professional competence in the socionomic sphere. Its theoretical conceptualization creates a foundation for improving professional training and developing integrated models of readiness for counseling practice.
