Motivational-needs approach to increasing the efficiency of sports and mass work with cadets of military institutions of higher education

Abstract. The purpose of the study is to analyze the motivation and preferences of Military institutions of higher education cadets for various sports for further testing of the results and the introduction of those areas that are most relevant for the popularization of sports and mass events among cadets. The article is devoted to the analysis of the work of the conducted studies, which will help to organize sports and mass work in Military institutions of higher education as effectively as possible and attract the largest possible number of participants, which is a high indicator for the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and health promotion among young people, which is currently a relevant problem. Physical education is the main subject of training future specialists in military institutions of higher education, especially in modern conditions where there is an acute problem of highly qualified personnel. The task of physical training is to form the professional competence of a future serviceman, and such basic qualities as the development of strength, speed and endurance, which are the key to the successful performance of official tasks. Physical training also contributes to the formation of moral and psychological resilience, which helps to quickly adapt to different combat conditions and develops high resistance to stressful situations [2,6,9]. The solution to the set goal involves the use of the following research methods: analysis and generalization of literary sources; sociological methods (questionnaires); methods of statistical data processing. Particular attention is paid to identifying the motivation and wishes of cadets regarding the organization of sports and mass work in military higher education institutions. Results. During the study, it was determined that the answers received during the questionnaire survey of cadets, as well as the proposals they provided for improving the process of sports and mass work, create an opportunity for analysis. Based on these data, it is possible to plan, adjust and organize sports and mass work with cadets of military institutions of higher education who are preparing to become future professional military personnel. Conclusions. It was established that sports and mass work is an important direction for improving the level of physical fitness and improving the process of physical training in the military high school, which contributes to maintaining and strengthening the health of cadets, which takes into account their physical fitness, health status and psychological development. Among the main types, the following were distinguished: recreational and health-improving, preventive and health-improving, conditioning training. The obtained and generalized theoretical data create conditions for a more targeted and effective organization of educational and training and sports and mass work in the military high school. Based on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature, conducted research and as a result of the data obtained, practical recommendations were formed, which set out directions and methodological recommendations for the construction, organization and conduct of sports and mass work with cadets of the military high school. A significant contribution to the formation of practical recommendations was made by previously conducted studies in connection with military personnel [1], with their experience in the subtleties and needs posed by the conditions of conducting military operations.Downloads
