Abstract

Abstract: The article examines the problem of forming research competence of applicants in the conditions of digitalization of modern higher education. It is emphasized that transformational processes in the educational space necessitate the transition from a reproductive model of education to a research-oriented one, however, some applicants face cognitive, motivational and organizational difficulties when carrying out independent scientific research. The problem of fragmentation of knowledge, formalization of educational activities and insufficiently developed academic planning skills requires special attention. The purpose of the article is to reveal the potential of online research tasks as an effective tool for overcoming educational difficulties and developing critical analysis skills in a digital environment. To achieve the goal, the following tasks have been defined: to identify and systematize the main difficulties of applicants in the process of studying at a higher education institution, to streamline methodological approaches to the implementation of online research tasks within language disciplines. The following methods were used: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, generalization and systematization of pedagogical experience, comparative analysis, pedagogical observation, descriptive method. As a result of the study, a classification of typical challenges (cognitive, motivational, organizational) was carried out and a system of methods of work in the online environment was substantiated - from problem-search to reflective practices, which involve self-analysis of educational achievements. It is proven that the involvement of language corpora, electronic archives and digital libraries contributes to a deeper understanding of complex scientific categories and the formation of an autonomous research position of the applicant. It is concluded that the systematic use of online research tasks forms a new culture of learning that combines traditional text-centric analysis with modern digital tools, and ensures the preparation of future specialists for professional activity in the digital academic space.
