Abstract: Purpose. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the specific features of developing social and emotional competence of future specialists in physical culture and sports under conditions of personalized learning as an important factor of their professional success. Methods. The research is based on the application of theoretical methods for systematizing scientific approaches to the interpretation of the concept of social and emotional competence, analyzing its structure, and generalizing pedagogical conditions within professional training. Results. The article reveals the essence of social and emotional competence as a component of professional competence of future specialists in physical culture and sports. Scientific approaches to defining the concept of “social and emotional competence” are analyzed, and its structural components are generalized in the context of professional training. Personalization of the educational process involves taking into account the individual learning needs, personal resources, emotional experience, and professional demands of higher education students, thereby creating conditions for the conscious development of emotional self-regulation, social responsibility, and a reflective position of the future specialist. It is shown that the implementation of emotional intelligence training, teamwork, business games, situational modeling, reflective practices, and digital educational tools within personalized learning contributes to the purposeful development of social and emotional competence as a basic component of professional training. Conclusions. It is confirmed that the development of social and emotional competence is a key factor of professional success and competitiveness of future specialists in physical culture and sports under conditions of personalized learning. The implementation of individual educational trajectories creates favorable conditions for the formation of empathy, emotional resilience, responsibility, and culture of professional interaction.Downloads
