Abstract: Objective: The purpose of the article is to provide a theoretical justification of the cognitive and resource-volitional components of the structure of personal effectiveness in bachelor’s degree students in the context of foreign language training. Personal effectiveness is understood as the ability to achieve learning goals, effectively utilize personal resources and educational opportunities, collaborate productively within the educational environment, and adapt to its changes. Within this framework, foreign language training is viewed as a purposeful process of developing foreign language competence as a meta-criterion for enhancing the personal effectiveness of students pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Methods: The study employs methods of theoretical analysis, generalization, and systematization of scientific approaches to the phenomenon of personal effectiveness and its structural components; content analysis; and methods of differentiation and classification of research findings and current scientific contributions to establish the content of the cognitive and resource-volitional components of personal effectiveness in students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the context of the interdisciplinary educational component “Foreign Language.” Results: The study identified the structure of personal effectiveness in bachelor’s degree students in the context of foreign language training. The content of the cognitive component is substantiated to include academic literacy, critical thinking, and project-based thinking, which ensure orientation in the academic environment, meaningful engagement with information, activity planning, and attainment of learning outcomes. It was determined that the resource-volitional component constitutes a complex, multidimensional construct encompassing personal resources, linguistic abilities, proficiency in modern communication tools and technologies, educational interests, a stable orientation toward achieving learning outcomes, and the capacity to adapt to changes in the educational environment. Conclusions. The generalization of the results of the theoretical analysis provides grounds to assert that orienting foreign language training for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree toward the development of their personal effectiveness will ensure their readiness for successful learning and further professional activity in in a dynamic environment, provided that the established characteristics of the cognitive and resource-volitional components are taken into account in its content, forms, and methods.Downloads
