Abstract

Abstract: This article examines the integration of technological skills, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI) in the professional training of future technology and computer science teachers in higher education institutions. The study aims to justify pedagogical and methodological approaches to integrating technologies and AI, and to determine their role in developing professional competencies of future teachers. Research methods included analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, comparative analysis of current teacher training models, systematization of theoretical principles for using ICT and AI, and summarizing practical experiences with digital educational resources in teaching technological and informatics disciplines. Results show that integrating technologies and AI enhances professional training effectiveness, fosters creative thinking, project-based culture, digital competence, and students’ readiness to implement innovative educational technologies. The study highlights the importance of interdisciplinary integration of curriculum content with technological and digital activities, teaching methodology, and digital tools. The findings can be used to improve the content of technological and informatics education, develop modern teaching methods, and implement innovative digital technologies in teacher training. Conclusions were integrated into the abstract to meet international journal standards: integrating technological skills, digital technologies, and AI contributes to modernizing the training of future technology and computer science teachers and improves the quality of pedagogical education. Combining practical and digital activities fosters students’ comprehensive professional competencies, develops creative and innovative thinking, and prepares them for effective use of modern educational technologies. The use of digital platforms and AI stimulates project-based learning, enhances digital competence, and increases the practical orientation of education. The findings can be applied to enhance technological and informatics education content, develop teaching methodologies, and implement innovative digital technologies in teacher training.
