Abstract

Abstract. Among innovative forms of team games, beach sports occupy a special place, combining accessibility, spectacularity and health benefits. They contribute to strengthening the physical and emotional state of participants, and also have significant potential in attracting young people to an active lifestyle and sports. The emergence of a new sport, an increase in the number of competitions, and the desire for growth in sporting achievements require scientific research in the training of high-class athletes in beach handball. All this necessitates a scientific understanding of the specifics of training athletes in beach sports, in particular beach handball, as one of the most dynamic and promising areas of modern sports. The object of the study is to analyse scientific and methodological literature and IHF information resources to identify the characteristics of technical and tactical actions in the attack of skilled beach handball athletes. Methods of research: theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological literature and IHF information resources, comparative analysis, systematisation and generalisation methods. Research results. It has been established that in beach handball, the type of throw largely depends on the specific game situation: the player's position, the method of receiving the ball, and the defender's counteraction. If a handball player does not have a sufficient arsenal of technical skills, he loses his individual threat to the opponent, and the effectiveness of the entire team is significantly reduced. Qualified beach handball players are distinguished not only by the high effectiveness of their attacks, in particular the effectiveness of two-point shots, but also by their ability to instantly adapt to rapidly changing game situations and difficult conditions when moving on sand. These key aspects necessitate that skilled athletes not only possess a high level of technical skill, but also demonstrate flexible and quick tactical thinking. Conclusions. Beach handball originated from classic handball, retaining the basic principles of the game, but at the same time differing significantly from it. The unique rules of the game require the adaptation and development of special technical skills that are unique to this sport. Attacking tactics in beach handball are largely focused on scoring goals, which are worth two points. The sandy court, fewer players, a special scoring system (two points for spectacular shots) and substitutions open up a wide range of tactical possibilities and make the game extremely spectacular and dynamic. The specific requirements of beach handball for the technical and tactical training of players require specialised training processes.
