Abstract. The article substantiates the theoretical and methodological foundations of metrological support for the individualization of physical training of higher education students using digital training systems. The current state of the problem of objectifying the control of physical loads within the system of physical education of student youth under the conditions of digitalization of the educational environment is analyzed. The main metrological indicators for assessing physical condition and motor fitness are identified, including maximal and relative strength, explosive power, heart rate, heart rate variability, as well as the intensity and volume of performed loads. The research methods included analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, physical fitness testing, instrumental measurement methods using digital training systems, methods of sports metrology (assessment of accuracy, reliability, and reproducibility of indicators), and methods of mathematical statistics (calculation of mean values, standard deviation, Student’s t-test, and correlation analysis). A structural model of metrological support for the individualization of the training process was developed. The model involves step-by-step collection, processing, and interpretation of quantitative data followed by algorithm-based adjustment of individual physical training programs according to the adaptive capacities of students’ organisms. Criteria of metrological validity and reliability of measurements were substantiated, and threshold values of indicators for correcting the intensity and volume of physical loads were determined. The study results demonstrated that the use of digital training systems equipped with metrological monitoring functions increases the effectiveness of physical training, contributes to load optimization, and reduces the risk of overload. The expediency of applying objective quantitative criteria in the process of individualizing physical education classes in higher education institutions has been proven. The obtained results can be implemented in physical education practice to improve physical fitness levels, functional stability, and students’ motivation for systematic physical activity.Downloads
