Abstract

Abstract. Informal education in the Ukrainian military education system is implemented through professional military education courses (L-course system) for officers to obtain tactical, operational and strategic levels of military education. The strategic level of military education is aimed at training senior officers who are engaged in strategic planning and management of the armed forces at the state level. Therefore, the training of senior officers is of decisive importance for national security. Objective. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the organizational and pedagogical conditions for the development of professional integrity of senior officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the non-formal military education system (L-4 course). Methods. The research was conducted during 2023–2025 based on theoretical analysis and synthesis of domestic and foreign scientific literature on pedagogy, military education, leadership and integrity. Methods applied: theoretical analysis and synthesis, systemic analysis, comparative analysis, and generalization. Results. It is determined that the organizational and pedagogical conditions for the development of integrity of senior officers in the non-formal education system should cover methodological, theoretical, methodical and practical aspects. Four interrelated conditions are substantiated. Conclusions. The development of professional integrity of senior officers in the non-formal military education system is a purposeful pedagogical process whose effectiveness depends on a set of organizational and pedagogical conditions that must be implemented systematically and comprehensively.
