Abstract

Abstract. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to modernize social work with youth in the context of ongoing social transformations. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate and systematize the institutional and technological foundations of social work with youth in the context of international organizations’ activities. General scientific methods, including analysis, synthesis, generalization, and systematization of scientific sources, were applied to determine the essence of social work with youth and its institutional and technological support. The results of the study consist in the conceptualization of social work with youth as an integrated institutional and technological system that combines subject-organizational mechanisms and instrumental-methodological tools for its implementation. The interrelation between the institutional component (a system of actors and interactions) and the technological component (forms, methods, and tools) has been determined. The principles, forms, and methods of social work with youth within the activities of international organizations have been systematized, and the possibilities of their adaptation in the practice of territorial communities and educational institutions have been substantiated. Conclusions. Social work with youth is considered an integrated system of institutional and technological components that ensures the socialization, integration, and development of young people’s potential. The combination of these components determines the effectiveness of social work with youth and its modernization in contemporary conditions.
