Abstract

The relevance of the study is обусловлена the need to improve the system of physical and special physical training of military personnel under the conditions of modern combat operations, which require a high level of physical fitness, psychophysiological resilience, and readiness for close combat actions. In this context, particular attention is paid to the use of combat sports, especially boxing, as an effective means of comprehensive influence on the physical and psychological qualities of cadets. The purpose of the study is to analyze the formation and development of boxing within the system of physical and special physical training of cadets of the National Army Academy named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi. Research methods included analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, historical and pedagogical analysis, analysis of regulatory and legal documents, as well as methods of systematization and logical-structural generalization. Results. It has been established that the development of boxing within the system of cadets' physical training has a stage-based nature and reflects the evolution of approaches to military training. The main stages of boxing formation have been identified, along with its transformation from an optional type of sports activity into an integrated element of special physical training. The pedagogical and applied significance of boxing in the formation of physical fitness, psychological stability, and combat readiness has been substantiated. Conclusions. It has been proven that boxing is an effective means of physical and special physical training of cadets, contributing to the development of key professionally important qualities of military personnel.
